 Art teacher Chrissie Collins of Harroway Comminity School, collaborated primary and secondary schools to work together to celebrate a sense of place in St Marys Church. Privileged to be invited as visiting Artist I worked with both primary and secondary learners, exploring texture in architecture,, mixed media artworks reflect their experience , the 'fabric' of St Marys Church: ...'Architexture'

 Working with Vigo Primary and Knights Enham primary schools we visited St Marys Church with yr 1... we explored the church walls, touchy feely texture...rough..smooth...found colour made by the elements, natures patterns ....we explored colour and pattern in the stained glass windows.......childen found geometric shapes in the building structure of the church...wow what fun....we returned to school and the children recalled their tactile experience, by exploring different media to create their own interpretation in colour,texture and line, reflecting their visit to the Church:
